Surat (Gujarat) [India], August 17: The Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from August 12 to 15, emerged as a historic opportunity for Surat’s textile industry, where Ajmera Fashion marked a strong presence.

Under the leadership of the company’s Founder and CEO, Mr Ajay Ajmera, Ajmera Fashion brought together more than 60 traders from Surat on this national platform, where every trader got an opportunity to display their products, make new connections and take their businesses to the national and international levels. The Ajmera Fashion pavilion was the largest pavilion from the textile sector at the festival, with a separate display arrangement for each participating trader.

During the festival, the Ajmera pavilion became a centre of attraction for several dignitaries. Delhi Chief Minister Mrs Rekha Gupta and CAIT National General Secretary and Member of Parliament Mr Praveen Khandelwal visited the stall and appreciated Surat’s craftsmanship. In addition, foreign delegates and buyers who came from several countries also showed keen interest in products from Surat.
